Business cards are interesting in that they use your credit profile for a decision on whether or not to issue the card. Once you have it however, they often are not reported to the credit agencies. (unless you don’t pay the bill!) This makes them not very useful for building credit but they can be used to have larger credit lines than your credit report might indicate. Your mileage may vary on this but it’s been my experience in the past.
