Credit Card Research Tool
I’m getting ready to re-assess all of the credit cards I currently have. As part of the process I’ll be cleaning up my credit, applying for new cards, (hopefully) refinancing some debt at 0% and get some good rewards along the way. At Fatwallet this is called an App-O-Rama or AOR. I don’t intend to go too overboard applying for new cards but will be using much of the same techniques.
This page will serve to keep track of the posts related to this process as well as host a credit card research tool I am building. For now, the links below will take you to lists of cards separated by category. There is a fair amount of overlap among the categories. In the near future it will be replaced with a search tool that will let you select appropriate card offers based on intro rates, rewards and other relevant criteria.
The links below will take you to lists of credit cards broken down in various categories. Along with intro and actual interest rates, the data shows rewards offered by the card issuers as well as an estimation of the kind of credit you need to get approved for the cards. From the list you can click to apply for cards you’re interested in, you’ll be directed to the issuer’s web site. None of your personal information will be collected or seen by me.
Again, in the coming weeks, I’ll be upgrading these simple lists to a more powerful search engine. Check back often!
