For the last several months my interactions with Prosper have gone something like this:

• Log into Prosper
• Shake head at the growing number of late payments on my various loans
• See that I have enough cash to make a new loan
• Search through loan requests and either a) not find any I like or b) find one or two I like, make a bid then get outbid before the loan closes.

Welcome back…

First off, I apologize for being gone so long. A lot of things going on in my personal life that took precedents over writing on the site. That situation has stabilized for the moment anyway so I’d like to get back to writing on a more frequent basis.

For my first post back, I thought I’d do an all-encompassing update that touches on all things financial in my life. So here goes…
