Time for an update…
As of Friday my positions have not changed from my previous post. I noticed that Jonathan @ mymoneyblog.com was using open portfolio to track his investments. I went ahead and set up an account as well. From here on, you can see the day to day performance of my portfolio here: http://www.openportfolios.com/Members/mypfblog/myplaymoney

I love stocks. The idea that my money can work so hard for me (with some work on my end) just tickles me to no end.
As I’ve written about in the past, I’ve recently begun to fund my ‘play money’ account again after a long absense. By play money I mean money that I can afford to lose. This doesn’t mean I want to lose it or am willing to gamble it away on some speculative play. My first post of 2006…
Made it back from visiting the parents in New York. The price of gas hit hard since I was driving our truck out. I think I spent around $240 on gas… (I needed to drive the truck since I was dropping off a snow blower at my wife’s mother’s house.)
I actually arrived home late Thursday after a 13 hour drive. Friday was crazy, had to go pick up our new (used) truck, pick up our horse trailer from being serviced and catch up on sleep. Yesterday we had some horses staying the night with us so we spent about 4 hours cleaning out the barn and bringing in about 25 wheelbarrow loads of sawdust. We made $40 for keeping 3 horses overnight for the shipper that was taking the horse we just sold. They spent the night in a local motel and left this morning. So, we sold two horses this last year…
I have tomorrow off from work and plan on writing a post or two between now and Tuesday. I hope the new year brings you much success in everything you do!
